How To Straighten Teeth At Home

Let’s be honest, we all want gorgeous, straight teeth. But the ugly truth is that a huge quantity of us are owners of a crooked set of teeth, and that’s far from being appealing to the eye. Visiting a dentist or an orthodontist and getting braces seems like the best option, and in most cases it is, but it can be an exhausting and expensive experience. What if you could straighten your teeth in the comfort of your own home? Well, you certainly can, and here’s how:

APPLYING PRESSURE

Simulating braces might be the best dental option. Braces work on a principle of applying constant gentle pressure on your teeth, and over time, your teeth become more or less straight. You can easily replicate that pressure by using various methods that sound abstract and way too simple, but certainly give results over a longer period of time.Perhaps the best option would be tying your teeth with dental floss every night before bed.

This technique works best if you only have a few crooked teeth, so focusing on them and tying them with something such as the aforementioned dental floss might straighten out your teeth just fine. Also, using your own tongue or hands to fix crooked teeth can certainly help. Every time you’re alone and not talking to someone, you should press your teeth with your tongue.

Sounds silly, but it helps. Not to mention using your hands to push your teeth in a wanted direction. The pressure, however, mustn’t be harsh, but gentle. These particular methods don’t do wonders, but over a large period of time they most definitely encourage positive changes.

DENTAL HYGIENE

This may sound obvious, but without proper dental hygiene, you can’t have healthy teeth. Many forget that their teeth are in fact a portrayal of how much they care about them. Brushing your teeth regularly, flossing and eating healthy food, in the long run, prevent negative trends regarding teeth straightness. This is a fact that’s often overlooked, but that doesn’t mean it’s not important.

CONCLUSION

It’s certainly possible to straighten your teeth at home to an extent, it just takes a little effort and patience. The results don’t come rapidly and they aren’t perfect, but if everything’s been done well, they can be just good enough for most people. • You still need to maintain the dental hygiene in you especially brushing your teeth. Do it 3 times a day. I think it is the best way to strengthen teeth and retain your oral health. Just don’t overdo your DIY teeth straightening or it may cause you to lose a couple of tooth in the process.

  • For me still braces can do the work to straighten your teeth. Much better to ask your dentist or orthodontist to give you the effective recommendations.
